Morgan's baptism June 14, 2009

As you may already know from reading our blog, Morgan was saved here at home on May 19, 2009. Brother Ryan Copico (AWANA commander) came over to our house and talked with us and Morgan for over an hour and she was saved. We have been out of town and missed church for about 4 weeks which is why she wasn't baptized until June 14th. My mom and dad were here also.

Brother Chad (our pastor) called us up to the front at the beginning of services and told the congregation about Morgan being saved. Then she and I headed to the back to get ready for her baptism. Brother Ryan was telling the congregation a little bit about his and Morgan's conversation the night she was saved. He said that she was full of so many questions about Jesus and Heaven. He told the congregation that his favorite one was, "Do you think they'll have Hawaiian sweet rolls in Heaven"? Of course, everyone got a big laugh out of that one. At Pauline Baptist Church, anytime someone is saved they get to ring the big bell outside. Here she is outside ringing the bell!!!Can you tell she is proud??? This was one of the happiest days of our lives...watching our little girl accept Jesus and be baptized. It's definitely a wonderful feeling!!
