Don't forget to unload your car after shopping!!!!

I just wanted to give you all a little reminder (I seem to need plenty these days, I don't know what's happening to my memory)...don't forget to unload your car after Christmas shopping. Anyway, when I got home from shopping Saturday night, I thought, well I'll unload the car later...the girls are still up and they don't need to see all of this. I ended up unloading what I had bought for myself (I mean, come on, who goes Christmas shopping without buying something for yourself?) Well, as I mentioned in my last post, we had company come over to watch the game and me and my wonderful memory forgot to finish unloading the car after the girls went to bed. Wellll, I had to go by Wal-Mart today after work to pick up a few things. Morgan knows the code to my car that unlocks all the doors AND pops my trunk. On our way out to the car, I told her to go ahead and unlock it and pop the trunk for me. Boy, it sure would help me if my memory was a little better than it is. Sooooo, I'm standing at the back of the car...she pops the trunk and walks back to open it for me. As soon as the trunk went up...I gasped and slammed it shut!!!! I'm just thankful her little hands weren't in the way. WHEW!!! You should have seen the look on her face...I think I scared her to death. She said, "What's that?" I said, "Oh,...I forgot to unload all the presents I bought for everyone the other night." She said, "Is any of it ours?" I said, "NO." Then she said, "What was in that box...it looked like a play computer or something?" I said, "I don't remember...it's probably something I bought for someone else...get in the car and get buckled." Needless to say, I had to cram everything I bought at Wal-Mart in the front seat of my car. I sure am going to miss "Jungle Jim" and "Sugar's" house this year. We knew where their spare key was and before I would go home from Christmas shopping, I'd make a stop at their house and unload. Now I just need to remember to unload it all before I pack the car up to go to Louisiana this weekend!!!

Mine are hidden in my closet! Sara will try to get a peek any time she thinks she can. I need to get them wrapped!
