A fun day of shopping

Well, I don't have a picture to add to this post, but wanted to let you know how my shopping day went yesterday. I met Marcia and Misty in Monroe yesterday morning...well, our plans were to meet at 9:30, BUT someone was a little late...try after 11:00. Oh well, it didn't stop me...I shopped until they got there. We shopped in the mall, then on to Toys-R-Us. Boy did we have a hay day in there. I ran into Janet (my principal from Prescott), her daughter Katie, and her two beautiful boys. It was good to visit with Janet...I haven't seen her since I moved from Prescott in May. I sure miss them all. We had to take a break from shopping long enough to eat so we decided to eat at Copeland's. If you've never eaten there, you need to try it. The food is delicious. Marcia and Misty dropped me back off at the mall around 4:00 and I shopped for a couple more hours, then headed home. I got a lot done, but still have so much more to do. I'm seriously considering shopping online. At least that way you could avoid the crowds. When I got home, David had bought the LSU/Troy game on tv. Boy, LSU is forevermore struggling this year. Some friends of ours from church came over and watched it with us. We barely pulled that game off. Well, I have lots to do before bed. David will be out of town on business Monday through Thursday of this week, then we'll be headed to Baton Rouge Friday night. Not sure I'll have much to post this week...we'll see.
