A fun night of bowling!

Last Saturday night, we went out to eat with some friends and then on to the bowling alley. David and I love to bowl and our girls are starting to really like it too. Morgan rocks on Wii bowling...and she's not too bad doing the real thing either. Here she is ready to roll! Jordyn and Lauren are doing the "car wash" dance. They just love Jordyn. They had spent the night with her the night before while David and I went to the Valentine Banquet at our church. We went to pick them up, but neither of them wanted to come home with us and Elizabeth insisted that we let them stay...so we did. Here's Elizabeth...I've mentioned her name enough in my past posts I figured I better put a picture of her on here. We both teach 4th grade together and have become very good friends this year. You wouldn't have thought that if you knew the story of our first encounter. She thought I was a snob, which in fact, I was not in a very chipper mood when I went to interview. In case some of you didn't know, I loved Prescott, loved our church, and had made some very dear friends that I was sad to leave. I didn't want to move, but knew we had to. So needless to say, I was sort of sad the day I interviewed...and she thought I was a snob. It's really funny to hear her tell the story. Who would have thought that we would become as close as we are now?The "Three Muskateers"...Morgan Cassels, Jordyn Nowlen, and Lauren Cassels. These girls are inseparable. They play with each other nearly everyday after school while Elizabeth and I are doing last minute things to get ready for the next day.
And here's David and Joe (Nowlen). Can you feel the enthusiasm? Actually, David is kind of sad because his wife is whipping his tail in bowling!!! hee hee :-)
Lauren was more interested in posing for the camera than bowling. She kept saying, "Mommy, take my picture now...let me see, let me see."And the winner is...ME!!!!!! Yes, you are seeing this correctly...your eyes are not deceiving you. My final score was 164 and David's...well, a 133. This isn't the first time I've beat him...it's just the first time that I've taken a picture as proof. I don't know what was wrong with the screen, but everytime I would snap the picture, part of the screen was black. Oh well, I got the important part...my final score! I love ya, Dave!
