Happy 8th Birthday Morgan!!!

It's hard to believe that my baby is 8 years old. We celebrated her birthday ON her birthday (February 6th) with her first ever sleepover. This cake was made by a Kindergarten teacher at MES who makes cakes on the side. It turned out so pretty and was very delicious. I know now who I will use from now on. The theme...Hannah Montana, of course. We started the night off at Pizza Hut. The girls were starving, so we (Mom, Elizabeth, myself, and 5 little girls) loaded up and headed out to eat.
When we got back, we were all so stuffed full of pizza and weren't hungry for cake yet. So, we started by letting Morgan open her gifts. I didn't upload all of the pictures of her opening presents...just a few.
She was so excited here because one of the things that she asked for was the High School Musical 3 Nintendo DS game...and she got it from us.
We went ahead and sang Happy Birthday and let her blow out her candles...but we still waited a little while longer on eating the cake. BUT when we did finally eat it...it was delicious!!!
We ended the night with a dip in the tub. I knew they all wouldn't be able to fit in Morgan's tub, so we decided to let them bathe in ours. They had a blast and yes, there was water everywhere. Can you look at them and tell they were having a blast????
Mom stayed the night with us, but Elizabeth went home. We were up until after midnight. I told the girls that I wasn't going to sleep until I knew they were all sound asleep. Mom and I stayed up in the living room watching my Grey's Anatomy episode that I recorded. I had to go in their rooms several times to finally get them calmed down. Finally, they went to sleep. Lauren ended up sleeping with Mom and me. I just knew that after going to sleep so late they would at least sleep late...WRONG!!! They were up in the kitchen at 7:15 the next morning wanting breakfast. I made them wait until almost 8 because I wanted to get a little more sleep, but that didn't happen. Mom and I ended up in the kitchen cooking pancakes and scrambled eggs for them. We had an assembly line going...wish I had a picture of that!! Needless to say, that will be our last sleepover for a while. I'm getting too old to stay up that late! :-)
