TGIF!!!

Thank God it's Friday...AND a long weekend. We are off Monday...YEAH!!! I'm always up for an extra day to "sleep in". Remember when I told you that I took Morgan to the doctor Tuesday and got her on antibiotics? Well, we went to school Wednesday and Morgan was fine...BUT I got sick. My throat started hurting a little that morning, but by the afternoon I could hardly swallow. I called David on my way home and asked him to come in a little earlier than normal because I was going to bed. I got home, changed into sweats, grabbed a thick blanket, and curled up on our bed. My temp was up to 101.8 that night. I honestly felt like I was getting the flu or strep throat. Needless to say, I called in sick the next day. I didn't bother going to the doctor because I'm already on 1500 mg of penicillin a day from the dentist for a tooth issue I had a couple of weeks ago. He gave me 40 pills so I will finally finish Sunday. Anyway, I didn't want more antibiotics so I just stayed home. I feel much better...no more fever, just a lot of congestion and sinus pressure. I know Tiger was glad I stayed home too. He was able to stay inside with me where it was warm and cozy instead of outside in his pen. It didn't get above 28 degrees here yesterday. Too cold for him to be outside. Speaking of cold...David's parents are working in Ohio and she said it was -10 degrees there this morning. She called me around 5 this evening and it had gotten up to 4 degrees there. Brrrr!!! Looks like I'll be cleaning house this weekend and making a trip to Lowe's to replace our kitchen sink light. I'm tired of not having a light over my sink AND of seeing an electrical cord hanging from the ceiling. I hope you all have a great, relaxing weekend.
