Tiger's first full day outside

I don't have a picture to post with this. Heck, he would have probably knocked the camera smooth out of my hands if I would have tried. Anyway, I'll back up a minute. Remember when I said that after cleaning up the pee, poop, and puppy pad shreddings that he just sped up the process of us getting his pen built??? I called Drew County Farm Supply Monday to see if they had any 10x10x6 ft. high dog pens and they did. David picked it up and he and Rob put it up last night. Luckily, the people who built our house poured an 11x11 slab in the edge of the woods by our house for their dog pen so it worked out perfect. David put his dog house in it facing away from the wind...we put his bed in it that he got for Christmas and even his teddy bear and chew toy. It was really hard to leave him this morning...it was pretty cold, but it eventually warmed up in the 50's today. When I got home, I looked out the window and he had pulled his bed out of the dog house and was laying on it. He was literally like a bird out of a cage when I opened that gate. Wild is not the word for it!!! It was like somebody gave him some speed or something. I had to send the girls inside because he was really too hyper to be around them...he kept jumping on them about to knock them down. I stayed outside with him for a while and ended up putting his leash on him to walk him and calm him down some more. After he was done playing, he walked to the back door and sat down as if to say, "ok, I'm done...take me inside where it's warm and cozy!" So I did and he went straight to his bed in his kennel and chilled until David came home. That was our plan anyway...to leave him outside during the day and bring him in at night with us. We've gotten so attached to him...he's like a kid. I'm glad we have him. I'll try to take some pictures of him and post so you can see how much he's grown already. He turned 12 weeks old today and weighs 22.9 pounds. He's gonna be a big, muscular dog and he's very pretty if I may so myself :-)
