Back from a relaxing weekend.

David and I are back from our weekend alone in Hot Springs. Mom came up Thursday night because Morgan had a music program Friday (I'll be posting pictures from it soon) and she stayed here all weekend. We decided that we'd take off to Hot Springs for the weekend. It's only about a 2 hour drive from here which isn't bad. It was about an hour away when we lived in Prescott. Anyway, we had a good time. The weather was gloomy and cold Saturday, but we still enjoyed our day. We went to the Boat and RV show and ran into our pastor (and his wife) from Prescott. It was so good to see familiar faces. Then we shopped a little...imagine that! We even stopped by the San Francisco Bread Co. for some cheesecake and hot chocolate. That night, we headed out to Cajun Boilers to eat (along with about a hundred more people who wanted to eat there). We got there about the time people were leaving the horse races so there was quite a large crowd of people waiting to be seated. The food was wonderful, nonetheless. By the way, it snowed in Hot Springs yesterday evening and Mom said it snowed here too. This morning, we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and headed home to see our girls...and Tiger. Tiger was excited to see us because we bought him a new bed for his kennel (the one inside the house) and a new bed for in front of the fireplace. He LOVES them!!!
