I don't know about you, but I'm not too happy about the weather conditions right now. Rainy and cold are not my thing...especially when it was so nice and warm last weekend. This week has been hectic and tiring. I had to go to Columbia right after school Tuesday to the funeral home. Mom's 1st cousin died of a massive heart attack at age 65. He was very well known and loved by many. He will be greatly missed. I didn't get home from Columbia until after 10:00 p.m. and still had to get things ready for the next day. We had target tests at school today and we tested ALL DAY LONG!!!! Even though I didn't do any "teaching" today, it is so tiring just walking around monitoring them while they test. I can honestly say that I've never been as tired first thing in the morning as I was this morning...I mean, I think that I never "fully" woke up until mid-morning. I live for Saturdays..."sleep late days" as me and the girls call it. I'm just happy to sleep past 7. 5:30 comes to early every morning.
Mom and Dad are on their way here now. The girls don't know because Dad wants to surprise them. He hasn't seen them since Christmas. They were in for the funeral and headed back to Texas Wednesday only to find out that work had been called off until next week due to the rain. So, they're coming here for the weekend to see the girls...and us too I guess...we just come last now! :-)
David just called and said we're going to the country club for supper tonight...suits me, I didn't feel like cooking anyway. We're meeting some friends there to eat.
Guess that's all the news I have for now. I have some more pictures, but will post them later. It takes too long and I don't have time right now. Until next time.......................
