Mom and Dad were here this past weekend...Daddy wasn't feeling well. He actually started feeling bad on their drive over from Texas. It was a cold and nasty weekend so we couldn't get outside and do anything. We hung out around the house Saturday...David took Morgan to a birthday party...me and Daddy took naps...I guess Lauren and Nana just hung out while we napped. When David and Morgan got back, we all went to Cowboy's for some good ole' fish. Daddy loves fish and he treated us to supper. They left Sunday morning because they had a long drive ahead of them and we went to Sunday school and church. At 2:00 p.m. we went to our neighbor's "renewing of vows" for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was so sweet. He had the same best man that he had 50 years ago...now that's a loyal friend. She had her granddaughter stand at her side.
The girls and I are looking so forward to this week ending...spring break is next week...lots of "sleep late" days coming up!!! YEAH! I had parent/teacher conferences tonight until 7:30 p.m. David registered Lauren for Kindergarten today...yes, I said Kindergarten. I'm so not ready for my baby to start school. It just doesn't seem real. He attended Morgan's conference and then took the girls out for pizza (their favorite meal). Needless to say, it's been sort of busy around here. Hopefully the weekend will be pretty so we can get outside and do some work in the yard. You know I'm ready for spring break when....this morning I kept hitting my snooze button because I wasn't finished going over a test with my class...I only had 5 more questions to go over and my alarm kept going off...so, in my sleep/whatever, I was hitting my snooze to give me more time to finish going over the test. Hello, tell me I don't need a break.
I better close for now...I'll post pictures this weekend hopefully...gotta get in the bed so I can get some sleep and hopefully not dream about school.
